Matthew J. Milliner is Professor of Art History at Wheaton College (IL). A graduate of Princeton University (Ph.D. and M.A.) and Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.). He has written for publications ranging from The New York Times to Comment (where he writes the a column entitled “Material Mysticism”), and he is the author of Mother of the Lamb: The Story of a Global Icon.
