In 2017 Reverend Elsberry retired, after 23 years, as Rector of St. Matthew’s and St. Mary’s Churches in Bedford, New York.  He graduated from Virginia Seminary, after an earlier career in editing and communications.  In the past year, he has published three books.  Reverend Elsberry and his wife, Nancy, have four children and nine grandchildren.
