Join us Tuesday, August 18 at 5 PM at Watch Hill Chapel for be our third and final speaker of the summer on AI.

 The speaker will be Father Andrea Vicini, SJ, Chairperson, Michael P. Walsh Professor of Bioethics, and Professor of Theological Ethics at Boston College's Theology Department. A physician and pediatrician trained at the University of Bologna, Fr. Vicini holds an STL and PhD from Boston College and an STD from the Pontifical Faculty of Theology of Southern Italy. He co-chairs the international network Catholic Theological Ethics in the World Church, and his research spans moral theology, bioethics, global health, biotechnology, and environmental ethics—including a 2015–2016 fellowship at Princeton's Center of Theological Inquiry studying astrobiology's societal implications.

Fr. Vicini's recent books, Encountering Artificial Intelligence and Reclaiming Human Agency in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, bring his theological and medical expertise directly to bear on the topic of AI and Our Health.
